Time to buckle up, buttercup, as this class is going to make you a challenge you can’t refuse…Hiit combined with resistance training meet yoga for a union your body will never forget. Join us for 40 minutes of utter horror, ending in 5 minutes of complete euphoria in savasana. “Try it,” they said! “It’ll be fun!” they said…
Get Yer Ya Ya’s Out
Yoga for yer Ya Ya’s? You got it! We gonna get allllll those residual ya ya’s out with this Latin-dance inspired Yoga class, incorporating a little latin dance flow, a little stretch, a little chill, and a lot of ya ya. Think of it as if Yoga was invented in the Dominican Republic. Got it? Yer yayas are waiting!
WTF is this, a yoga for ANTS? IDK, but it’s yoga with a twist, we can say that much. This class takes your yoga practice to a new level, incorporating dance, play, relaxation, and fun…after all, we need to play a little more. You’ve never seen a yoga class quite like this. Come and play!
Yoga is for Lovers
Channel your inner dancer with this jazzy, Buddha Bar sensual flow. Based on a Vinyasa practice, we’ll just move our beautiful bodies however they want to be moved, fast or slow, a constant flow…see? Poetry! Let’s get it onnnnnn!

Muscles? Ya, they’re pretty neat but have you heard about FASCIA, the MVP of your body’s internal structure? Time to stretch that shizzle, my wizzle. Get deep into your chill zone with some lonnnnnnnnnng asana holds that allow that glorious fascia to stretch and lengthen and help you move better, stand taller, feel powerful. Next stop: world domination!
Dance Dance Time Machine
Let’s dance through the decades with a dance class that is totally inspired by #AllTheEras! Roaring through the 20s, jiving into the 50s and let’s not forget rocking our hairspray and neon for the 80s…DDTM is all about feeling good, having some fun, and letting your hair down (or sprayed up) 🙂 Every week we’ll cover different eras, styles of dance, and just let loose a little. Why not? Oh, and costumes are super highly encouraged…you know you miss that neon…
C U @ the Barre
It’s happy hour, if happy hour looked like swearing profusely while holding micro bends in the knees. Yay! But really, this ballet-inspired barre class will get you shaking and quaking in all the right ways as we channel our inner ballerinas with a playful twist. Don’t worry, you most certainly don’t require an ounce of ballet background to rock this class, but you might consider giving ol’ Baryshnikov a call to say, “Imma let you finish, but…” C U @ the barre!
Friday Night Dance Party
It’s been a long week…time to kick off the weekend with a dance party! We got the flashing lights and the beats, you bring your glorious self and there we have it! Friday Night Dance Party! Every class will offer different styles, fresh vibes and a lot of fun…bring your friends and stay in, party hard, have some fun!
Mardi Gras? Rio? Trinidad? We are gonna bring them right to your living room, minus the alcohol-ridden pervs and drugs…hooray! Every class we’ll explore the world’s greatest parties, raves, carnivals and beats and bring them right to you with a wine-up and a cool-down that’ll get you feeling tropical all year round, no hangover required. I mean, can it *get* better?!
Ever been in one of those situations where you remembered a joke when you were out alone in a public subway and started laughing out loud and everyone around you stared, and then you like sort of couldn’t stop laughing anyway and missed your stop and bumped into an old lady and dropped her groceries onto the subway tracks? Some of you haven’t, and it shows. But really, let’s get into the awkward vibes a little, here. This class will let us channel allllllllll the feels, with creative movement exploration, dance and a whole ton of play to, like, stop taking ourselves soooooo seriously. OMG. Go ahead and laugh, that’s what we’re here for 🙂
Bums & Tums
Pretty sure the name is self-explanatory, but in case you weren’t aware, this class is allllllll about our favourite bits to work: dem glutes and dat core! We’ll combine a little Pilates, a little strength, a little cardio, a few giggles, a ton of play. What’s not to love? Also, full disclosure: nobody’s bum looks exactly like a peach, and six-packs are highly overrated but we’ll work ’em hard, baby!
Also lovingly known as WTF, we’ll keep you guessing with this high-energy class of intervals, crazy games, movement, dance, and whatever else happens to strike the mood in any given moment. As the Play philosophy goes, no two classes are ever the same…OMG will keep you guessing every. single. moment. Come onnnnn, where’s your sense of fun? Find it here! OMG!
Balls to the wall
Grab your balls! What, why are you staring at me like that? Oh, ya so this class will show you all kinds of delicious workouts that can be completed with a fitness Bender Ball, an incredible tool for working every single part of the body. Combinations of play, games, cardio and strength with a solid core strength at the, well, core of things…Balls to the Wall!
Vive la REsisance!
Strength and resistance training is suuuuuuuuch BS, amiright. We hate it, too. So why not make it into something actually a little fun? In Viva La Resistance we will incorporate resistance training to music, dance, a little HIIT and a lot of play. Muscles are fun to have, but getting them, not so much. Let’s shake things up…viva la resistannnnnnnce!
Hiiiiiiiiyah! Ever wanted to roll into your next work meeting to the tune of Mission Impossible and do flips across the table? Then, I mean, you really should try it, but on another note, Ninja Academy is all about combining some of our favourite things: kicking stuff, punching stuff, rolling around the floor and being generally very, very badass. It’s all about Play with a healthy dose of kicking some bums…how much better can it get?
Rollin’ With Mah Homies
It’s been a long day, hasn’t it? Time to pack it up, pack it in, maybe let me begin…by suggesting you roll that shizzle out and leave the day – and sore muscles – behind. You’ll want to have a tennis ball handy, a foam roller, and a Gua Sha or alternative so we can roll and ooh and ahh all the pain away, at least that of the physical kind 😉 Myofascial release, gentle stretching, glorious Pranayama are all joining forces for a gorgeously relaxing session. After all, you got 99 problems, but sore muscles ain’t one.
Your yoga mat takes centre stage in this high impact, high interval class of jumps, rolls, leaps and…hopscotch? Yep, you heard correctly! The Mat Olympics are here, and move over, Simone Biles, because YOU are the star of this show! We’ll be bending and twisting and using our mats as they surely were never intended. High intensity fun, combined with yoga, childhood games and hiit training all join forces for this crazy class. And you know what? You get a medal, and YOU get a medal…you all get medals!
Ohhhhh, you! Let’s be our most ridiculous selves for a bit, and channel our inner Rascal, that little creature who just longs to come out and play more. Remember all those childhood games you so loved, with movement, dance, running, jumping, trotting, hopping, prancing…? Rascal, this one is for you! Move it, shake it, jump it, dance it, prance it…we’ve got all the childhood faves in this class, from Musical Chairs to Hit the Deck to more, more, more. Unexpected and wonderful, that’s Rascal!
You know, Darth Vader probably would’ve turned out WAY nicer had he just had more recess times and less, you know, being pushed into all that intense Jedi training. Take a look at what recess looked like for you, and let’s channel that energy into a class that’s all about moving like a child, playing like a child, and being totally unbothered…like a child. Come on, now, that briefing can wait another 30 minutes, can’t it? It’s recess time!
What did Pablo Picasso ever do to deserve this?! We’re going to grab our favourite painting and drawing tools, a massive canvas or sheet that we don’t give a sheet about – I had to, sorry – and explore our inner artist like never before. Move and draw, dance and paint, slide around in the colours, whatever each class brings, we’re going to make this one wild and wonderful mess!
High School Musical
Remember back in school when you really, but realllyyyyy wanted to be the star? Well, now’s your chance, kind of, but not really. Yay! This dance-inspired class will take us through some of the most popular musical routines, famous dances and popular songs and allow us to master some super-fun choreography, while obviously not taking ourselves too seriously. Each class will focus on one project, we’ll get it down pat, run through it, then onto the next! Let’s mix them up together after some time for a super fun online RECITAL. OH YES SHE WENT THERE. *Jazz Hands, Tutus and Liza Minelli are not included.
The Joy of Living
Cooking and cleaning, joyful? NEVER! Wait, maybe? Let’s take a hold of some regular household items and duties and turn them into something altogether different…playful, maybe a little workout, maybe a dance, perhaps a microphone – come on, we all use the broom as a mic once in awhile, don’t we? Don’t we?!!! – let’s explore! Each class we’ll take different aspects of the otherwise-mundane everyday stuff and turn it into something so much more. You’ll never look at a broom the same way again…but, like, in a good way!
Named after our Joyful Founder, Anna, and her favourite game she made up as a child, Joyful Funness actually encompassed just twirling around until she fell down on the floor…and this class is pretty much the same, TBH. We’re going to explore the most joy we can in movement, however that looks for us on any given day. Most importantly, we’re going to absolutely fart glitter bombs and rainbows* and have some joyous, joyful fun! *Legal Disclaimer: pretty sure if you are literally farting rainbows and glitter bombs you should change diet and / or consult doctor, but we will do the figurative version here.
